The European Programme Family Mediation concerns parents of pupils who attend or soon will attend secondary school. Furthermore the program is addressed to teachers. Multi annual experience of teachers in primary and secondary education in Portugal highlighted the problem of academic failure and dropout by adolescent pupils during secondary education. Therefore EPIS methodology was developed in collaboration with teachers, psychologists and social workers. The EPIS methodology is exclusively used by the Project of Family Mediation.
Electronic Compass represents in Greece the consortium of the European Project "Family Mediation" which is implemented by the support of the European Commission.
The project consortium was consisted by the following partners: APPIS (Association Paredes for Social Inclusion, Portugal), Electronic Compass (Electronic Compass, Greece), Kairos Europe (United Kingdom), CFAEPPP (Portugal), Agrupamento de Escolas de Vilela (Portugal), Professional Foundation (Romania), ALPE (Associació Empresarial L'Alqueria Projectes Educatius, Spain), Epocha (Italy)
